The Building Engineering Services Association is the UK’s leading trade organisation for building engineering services contractors – representing the interests of firms active in the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, control and management of engineering systems and services in buildings.
FETA is an organisation made up of six separate trade associations which has represented the interests of our members for over 30 years across the heating, cooling, controls, and ventilation industries within the UK. With over 400 member companies, with annual turnover in excess of £2bn, it is with some authority that we can claim to be the voice of our industry.
FETA maintains close links with other UK trade associations in similar industries, and also with government departments. We are active in a number of other organisations, such as EPEE, AREA and EVIA, to ensure our members interests are represented to the full in Europe.
FETA is also very active in a wide range of ISO, CEN and BSI committees, influencing and setting standards in the UK and Europe to further the interests of all of its members.
The Institute of Refrigeration is an independent registered charity run for the public benefit with a membership of nearly 2000 individuals whose work depends on refrigeration. The Institute provides a central resource for people from all over the world to improve the application of refrigeration and allied fields for the general good of society.
REFCOM was first established in 1994, and proudly operates both REFCOM Elite and the market leading REFCOM F gas company certification scheme. We work closely with Defra, the Environment Agency and industry to make sure our members have access to the latest information, promoting compliance and best practice.
