WorldSkills UK National Final

WorldSkills UK LIVE 2020

The highest scoring competitors  from the National Competition will be invited to the WorldSkills UK National Final, held at WorldSkills UK LIVE in 2020.

The gold medal winner from the WSUK National Final will be presented with a trophy, and their respective training provider will receive the SkillFRIDGE Shield at the ACR News Awards in 2021.

Those apprentices who achieve a sufficiently high score in the WSUK National Final will also be considered to represent Great Britain at international WorldSkills competitions (subject to age eligibility).

Terms of eligibility for the wsuk final:

  • Competitors must be at least 16 years of age on 1 September 2019 to compete during the 2020 competition cycle.
  • Competitors must be employed having completed a UK qualification within the last 12 months, studying or an apprentice at the specified level of the competition.
  • Educated and/or trained in a UK education or training establishment, and hold or be working towards a related UK qualification, or eligible to hold a UK passport.
