Entering SkillFRIDGE could lead to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take your well-deserved place on stage to be applauded and credited for your outstanding talent.

In 2016 SkillFRIDGE undertook regional heats across the UK to identify the best up-and-coming ACR industry talent around the country. The highest scoring competitors were invited to take part in the national finals, which took place at The Skills Show at the NEC, 17 to 19 November, 2016.

The winners:

Luke Courtney – SERC College (GOLD)

Chris Hoy – SERC College (SILVER)

John Thompson – Glasgow Kelvin College (BRONZE)

The Skills Show, which is organised by WorldSkills UK, provides a national showcase for the brightest young talent emerging in five skills sectors: Engineering and Technology, Media and Creative, IT and Enterprise, Hospitality and Lifestyle, Construction and Infrastructure. The winners in each field may go on to represent the UK in the WorldSkills championships internationally.
